Mongolian Peace Corps Adventure

We have made it to our host family sites - Amy is in Shaamar and I am in Sukhbaatar.  We will be here for the duraition of the summer learning the language and the culture.  It is really an amazing place, we are lucky to be here and to learn from these people who are incredibly nice.  It is really difficult for me to upload pictures and updates on our web page so please check emails and I will begin to update this as soon as I can.  Thanks and hope all is well.

Dear Friends and Family,

 

We are getting ready to leave for the Mongolia and our Peace Corps Volunteer Service.  We will be leaving Colorado after Memorial Day and heading for Los Angeles where we will spend some time with Amy's friends  and family she has there.  We are scheduled to be in LA and begin our Volunteer Service June 2.  As we understand things, we will have a small introduction to the Peace Corps and meet out fellow volunteers.  We will then be leaving for Ulaanbataar, Mongolia around June 6 where we will spend 3 months in culutal and language training.
